  1. I would be mortified if my tampon string was visable! There's nothing disgusting about the clean string, but if it were all bloody and still visable that is another story.

    1. I think you're missing the point a bit. Sure, having you're bloody tampon string show could make you comfortable. But the fact that a bloody or clean tampon, something completely natural is more shocking than the sexualization of women in media is absurd. Women in the media are used to sexualize products but the things that make us female, like getting periods are shunned and that really affects the perception of women.

  2. I love all these things you bring up Charly. You are so much more brave than most of the writers these days. Its refreshing to know that its okay to think like this and to be able to express freely what you believe in. Thanks

  3. That night I discovered your blog... and really liked it.. till I saw this picture :).
NO.. I was stunned, great pic... strange comment of yours ;).
Because, I do think women are godesses even with that everything. It's more on strong or weak men and aswell as strong or weak mothers. It's all about feminity.
Women ARE sexobjects but noone want's to be that in that horribly, shitty, flat media world. The price is high and sex selllllssssss. But NO more or less beautiful woman (that's so personal) can feel happy wiping of ones ass with a billion dollar note, after having seen ones picture in a childish, prostitute pose with horrible hair, one finger in mouth, the other finger running down ones own breast in a even more unbearable Jil Sander dress. Ouch.
    Yeah.. I mean whatfor?
Money, self impressive moments for one's own rocky horror show post death -photo album ?
I've got nothing against style and strong captured provocative moments.. but there's nothing left I can be provoked with. It's all worn out.. and that hunger game girls are riding on the top of a wave, that is less impressive than emberassing mostly for themselves.

    Thanks for that blogged pic!
